Charles Volpe Scholarship

  • Awarded to a senior in History or Political Science majors from Lackawanna County
  • Selected by faculty

Connolly-Blewitt Family Scholarship

  • Children of current or retired postal employees and school teachers.
  • Submit letter and supporting documentation to Financial Aid Office.

Denise Dubbles Scholarship

  • Awarded to students studying overseas in Latin or South America, Asia, Russia, Eastern Europe, Africa, etc.
  • Students doing international service work
  • Selected by Associate Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences and the Director of Foreign Studies

Koch-Conley America Legion Scholarship

  • Any student that is a son or daughter, grandson or granddaughter of a current and active member of Koch-Conley American Legion Post 121.
  • Submit letter of documentation to the Financial Aid Office.

Loughran - Peters Scholarship
  • Awarded to a junior student in Science, pre med, Chemistry, Biology
  • Selected by Pre Med Advisor and Director of Financial Aid in the Spring

Michael S. Costello Scholarship

  • To assist children, spouses and siblings of those killed or permanently disabled in the terrorist attacks on America on September 11, 2001, including airplane crews and passengers, World Trade Center and Pentagon workers and visitors, and relief workers. 
  • Submit letter of documentation to Financial Aid Office.

National Science Foundation Noyce Scholarship

  • Noyce Scholars grant will support future science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) high school teachers in high-need school districts.
  • The NSF grant provides a financial stipend to participants selected to become Noyce Scholars, in addition to affording them early field teaching experience and mentoring opportunities with practicing teachers in partner schools.
  • Noyce Scholars will also participate in special courses to expose them to computational science methods, among other educational opportunities in the sciences.

Mecca Family Scholarship

  • Incoming undergraduate freshmen, evidence  of financial need, GPA of 2.5 or higher, serves the Roman Catholic Church, demonstrates life achievements, aspires to be a strong leader with ethical values.
